The Hot Chick
First off I want to say that is a great post. Secondly, I have never been more excited for a draft in my life. I putting my faith in RG3.

2-2 = 4
Same feeling I get DS...and thanks guys...I'm trying to get my 'upbeat' back with this one. And hoping 'the Under the Hill Gang' moniker somehow sticks. So I can constantly remind everybody that I came up with it

2-2 = 4
I have a feeling we're marking time until our "youth movement" QB gets here. Hence keeping Moss, who I love, but is no sprchkn!Posted 07-30-11 at 03:01 PM by Dik Shuttle

The Last Gasp
Yeh - nice post, but you're right there with all of us. Tell me, though - what do you think would happen if we (the 'Skins, I mean) show some fire in the limited pre-season? It could be pretty damn kewel.
Not that I'm expecting anything....Posted 07-27-11 at 08:36 AM by Dik Shuttle

Losing the Offseason
Nice post!
But what about creating draft pics where there were none - I still have the good feeling about that, but isn't that 'winning'?

Rex Grossman, Franchise Quarterback?
Looks like we are going to have to do it with defense this year! I hear that London Fletcher is signing autographs in Lorton on Saturday at the Window Nation grand opening, I wonder what he thinks of Rex.Posted 05-04-11 at 10:18 PM by Burgundy Bob

Rex Grossman, Franchise Quarterback?
Absolutely. Beck could be the wildcard. But I think I'm right on their view of Rex.Posted 04-30-11 at 03:10 PM by Boone

Rex Grossman, Franchise Quarterback?
Writing this as the 5th round continues and knowing full well another name could easily join the picture here ...
On the one hand ... I agree.
On the other, perhaps there's another name we should keep in mind as well.
John Beck. They guy Kyle Shanahan apparently has been high on for a long time.
Just sayin'.Posted 04-30-11 at 02:31 PM by Om

My Redskins Hangover
I can't really explain it - but for some reason, this offseason has been one of the hardest ever for me. It's not that the 2010 season was some epic disaster. We saw some small, meaningful signs of progress despite it all. We saw our defense force some turnovers, particularly against the passing game (something we have had few glimpses of in the past), we saw a running game begin to work despite a lack of sexy stars carrying the ball, we saw a return game that put some fear in the opposition, and we saw the team claw and scratch it's way through each game with few exceptions staying competitive. Still - just seems harder this offseason to muster up the same old optimistic homerism. Can't explain why as I do have some respect for Shanahan and think he has it in him to turn things around. I'd feel a LOT more optimistic if we had our full complement of draft picks - because we really need every one we can get our hands on.Posted 02-20-11 at 02:20 PM by Boone

The Fine Art of Blamestorming
Great write up Boone, I think the difference was in gibbs2 we saw progression instead of regression and despite some of the weird moves (duckett) we were willing to be patient because we had faith in Joe, faith that some of us HAD in shanny until some of his truly baffling decisions came to haunt us.Posted 12-15-10 at 03:12 AM by Rymanofthenorth
