Oh man. I hope it's not something intra-cranial, swelling or whatever.

He walked away. He walked the hell away. Sadly, it makes me wonder about swelling on his brain though. That's something that can appear and worsen quickly well after the actual trauma.

Why do some of some people at "another place" continue to speculate when I already told them that one of the penalized drivers was Denny Hamlin? Now it is confirmed. Don't question the source - just know that I don't post something if it is too speculative.

And I said that one of the others was Newman or Gordon. Turns out that it is Newman.

Other stuff. No more racing at Gateway after 2010. Dover Motorsports has withdrawn its NW and Trucks support for races at that venue.

If I find a link before the evening is over, consider it done. The injuries are not life threatening though. Very little info is being released - we'll see if more is to come.

I found one earlier. FOX11 in Wisconsin, I believe. I'll see if I can track it down again.

Reminds me of Ernie Irvan's crash in some weird way. That was before we all had internet, and 24-hours of ESPN updates.

I watched Headline News all night, waiting for updates every 20 minutes. I went to bed when they said he was stable.

My bad. You're right. Hopefully he's been upgraded. It's really strange how little information there is on this floating around out there. I hope it's being done for privacy-sake, and no other reason.

Jack has been moved to the Mayo clinic. They needed for him to be a bit more stable before moving him to Rochester. Needs a good bit of facial work. I heard earlier that the Roush teams will be racing with decals for Jack at Pocono and Iowa.
