Answered: skins scab qb?
jJust watched the replacements, with Keanu Reaves. Was trying to remember who skins qb was. Also i think i remember a receiver making the roster and maybe a return specialist. Memory is the second thing to go.

Ed Rubbert was their starter for all 3 replacement games (didn't finish the third, he got injured), and was the inspiration for Keanu's character. The QB who replaced him, Tony Robinson, was on work furlough from prison, so he was the inspiration for the Earl Wilkinson (safety) character.
Anthony Allen (WR) and Dennis Woodberry (CB) both made the teams after the lockout.

Wasn't Mike Oliphant a replacement player that made the team too?

According to Wiki, Oliphant was drafted by the Redskins in 1988 in the 3rd round.

Oliphant is also the guy we traded to the Cleveland Browns to get Earnest Byner... a case of grand theft larceny by Bobby Beathard.
While Oliphant faded quickly into obscurity, Byner, in 4 years with the Skins, had two 1,000 yard seasons (and a 3rd with 998), was a two time Pro-Bowler, was the starting RB on the Skins '92 Super Bowl team, and was voted one of the 70 Greatest Redskins.
