So we have our first mystery...who is wearing Rogers jersey today? Cause we all know Los can't catch.

And then we had to listen to the announcer try to suggest the left foot was already on the ground whne the ball was in his hands when it was clearly in the air along with the right foot, then the left foot was the first to hit the ground followed by the right foot hitting the line.
I have to question if the refs were told to give the Jags the benefit of the doubt!

I hope someone rips Cooley a new one at half-time. He's killing us out there. I don't care if you're a class guy, a favorite son, or whatever. It that's the best he can do, start Davis and let golden boy sit. I'll be disappointed it they put Cooley back out there for the 3rd quarter.
And as for the officiating, we are getting jobbed.

So what's the record for number of overtime games in a single season?

Beat the paloff teams, lose to the lowlifes. What a weird season.
Well, we go lower on the draft scale. Mixed feelings about it.

With the needs we have on both sides of the ball, I am not sure it matters if we pick 7 or 12. With the 12 pick, we could justify choosing an interior offensive lineman, our biggest need. With a pick in the top 10 we might see them try to trade up or might not be able to find a trade down partner since it could be too expensive. Or worse, we could see them take Cam Newton with the 7 or 8 pick.

QFT.
If we take Cam Newton, the fanbase should march on Ashburn with torches and pitchforks in hand, along with a railroad cross tie, and escort Shanny and Allen out of the state of Virginia.

After watching Tim Tebow will the Broncos to a win today, I'm certainly not against Newton. As a dual threat who, IMO, is a better passer than Tebow, I think he could be intriguing in Shanahan's offense.

You think a kid who is about to become a millionaire, who has possible character issues can come in and humble himself enough to be led by Shanahan?
I think a chance on Jake Locker would be less of a gamble than a higher pick on Cam Newton.

In regards to Cam Newton:
My " let's draft a great athlete and rebuild his QB mechanics" meter is at zero.
I want a QB. Not a runningback that thinks he is one.

After seeing Vick this year, I've given up predicting success at QB. Who the hell knows what will or won't be. Would I be more thrilled with a traditional young pocket-passing stud at QB? Absolutely. But I'll watch and wait to see what happens and hope we finally strike gold.
