My mother says the same thing. Maybe I'm naive (try not to laugh too hard), but I think their agenda is simply to get the government to recognize the legitimacy of gay marriage, and by extension, to normalize homosexuality. Am I missing something else? Mom tends to launch into a diatribe about how they are attacking Christianity and wanting to tear that down and all that, and maybe they are, maybe they aren't. I think FOX News has done such a marvelous job convincing everyone that a War on Christmas exists that some people (ala mi madre) read more into it than is actually there.

Just my opinion though.

Political change of heart, but he may have felt this way all along. He is straddling the fence because he has stated that the issue should be decided by states. In other words his position doesn't mean much. Just reaching for votes and financial support.

Is anyone surprised. Politicians do it all the time.
